The Divine Presence

Shree Vishnumaya Swamy is revered as the divine offspring of Lord Shiva and Parvathy Devi— born to guard the faithful and remove unseen obstacles. At Mayasannidhi, Swamy is worshipped as a guardian, a brotherly protector who responds quickly to sincere devotion. Those who enter the temple with a humble heart often feel immediate solace and protection.

Rituals & the Power of Kalam

Mayasannidhi preserves Kerala’s living Kalam tradition: sacred floor-paintings, manthra japam, thottam pattu, and guruthy offerings. Each Kalam is drawn by hand using natural colours and consecrated with chants and music. The Kalams are not performance — they are sakshath darshanam, a direct communion with the deity.

Major Kalams at Mayasannidhi

  • Shree Vishnumaya Swamy Kalam — Protection, removal of black magic, courage.
  • Hanuman Swamy Kalam — Strength, victory, courage of heart.
  • Devi Kalams (Koolivaga Devi / Bhadrakali / Durga) — Shakti, family peace, protection.
  • Veerabhadra Swamy Kalam — Removal of enemies, graha dosha remedies, mental clarity.
  • Karimkutty Chathan Kalam — Quick protection, child safety, removal of drishti dosham.
  • Muthappan Swamy Kalam — Inclusive bhakti, healing, compassion for all.
“At Mayasannidhi the Kalams are not drawn by hand alone — they are drawn by devotion.”
— Madadhipathi Sarasan Swamikal

Why Devotees Visit

People come to Mayasannidhi for immediate relief from family troubles, health concerns, and unseen negative energies. The temple also supports growth and success through Sampath-Siddhi rituals, and brings comfort to those seeking peace and reconciliation. All seekers are welcomed — Swamy does not see caste or rank, only the heart.

Message from Madadhipathi

Madadhipathi Shree Sarasan Swamikal has served Mayasannidhi with devotion and discipline. He teaches that true devotion is simple: light the lamp within, speak to the Lord with an honest heart, and the divine will act. Under his guidance the temple remains a place of protection, healing and quiet strength.

“Swamy doesn’t look at wealth or status. He looks at the sincerity of the heart. Come with faith — you will be heard.”

How Rituals Are Performed

Each Kalam begins with Kalamezhuthu (floor drawing), followed by Manthra Aavahanam, Thottam Pattu, and Guruthy Kalasam. The Thantri and Madadhipathi choose auspicious timings (nakshatra, thithi) before any major ritual. Devotees may sponsor Kalams or book private parihaaram with prior notice.

  • Kalamezhuthu & Kalam Pattu
  • Protection Homams (Vishnumaya Homam, Aayushya Homam)
  • Dosha Parihara & Family Shanthi Karma
